Of course this means that not only do we have an extra hour in bed on Sunday but an extra hour is also available to enjoy our Time Saturated Soiree on 4th November. We will feature artists abundant in time and time signatures of the non linear variety... for instance..The Astronauts set their Atomic Clock while traveling at the speed of light in the opposite direction (Rock and Reel magazine described their front man Mark Astronaut as "The Post-Punk Dylan of Welwyn Garden City')..live from the event horizon we have the extraordinary Taktylos ("Philip Glass meets Soft Machine" a real treat..The Guardian).Society Of Imaginary Friends will present the briefest of Rock Operas "On the Third Stroke" based on the life and Times of Ethel Jane Cain the very first speaking clock, (glamorous and exact the living embodiment of precision...she sat between the tick and the tock..swinging in the hammock strung between the Sun and the Moon... The Idler Magazine)..Our "Sun" is the fabulously, beautiful, talented, rising star singer/ songwriter Beth Jones, our "Moon" is supremely talented multi-instrumentalist Marius French , there is a whisper that the star of ITV's drama "The Level" Cian Binchy will be joining us... poet Nighmar Ascousky will shock and awe , plus we will be boogieing to the funky stylings of DJ Onjdrew till the wee small hours plus more acts to be announced and Alfie is going to set fire to something...entry exotically free. STOP PRESS: We have the fabulously talented, creative poet Amy Neilson Smith joining us, as well as studying a Masters in Poetry and Life Writing at Goldsmith's, she is currently collaborating with Stephanie Singer from Bittersuite and creating a national project with Spoken Word for visually impaired children, including professionally producing an anthology of their work, which will be realised with Alba publishing in December and she is currently writing her second collection of poetry ready for publication. We have an exciting line-up for the June Soiree 2016.. Delicious melodies from Flute and harp duo Martin Lau and Sheila Moylan and after a fantastic reception at last months Soho Soiree we are pleased to invite back the beautiful, Bowie-esk, songs of singer / guitarist Jed Demochowski (formally of the VIP's and also a charted solo artist). There'll be gritty, urban punk tunes from the fabulous HER plus a very special guest who does something wonderous and fascinating with moving air - more on this soon. There's also the beautiful, talented Beth Jones (a star in the making), plus sexy, intriguing poetry from mysterious beauty Keleigh Wolf, Sir Elvis from Nairobi Kenya of BBC news fame will be wowing us with his Country tunes and new songs from us - Society of Imaginary Friends... After the live music we'll have funky beats from DJ Magic Touch & DJ Supa B who will play til 2am if the demand is there - (that's down to you lovely people!) If you're hungry the venue doubles as an award winning vegan restaurant, and good value too as all meals are under a tenner and there's filling snacks under a fiver so you won't starve! Fresh from her European Tour both as part of the Lene Lovich band and stratospheric soprano and composer in her own right we have the gorgeous Kirsten Morrison performing songs from her up coming new release..we have the mellifluous bard Gabriel Moreno, Cian Binchey will storm it to new heights with his newly perfected rapping and lovely poetry, we have a new acoustic piano which is brilliant as it has tempted the wonderful Mieko Shimizu and her virtuoso daughter Jasmine to return to the shores of Wood Green and astound us with their beauty..Comedienne Mimi Biggadike from funny women will be sharing her thoughts on life...Kosmic Troubadour will be re-asserting the fact that all we need, is in fact, LOVE...Aldwyn Johnson and his band the Future Soul Monkeys will be injecting a funky vibe...Sam Jolly poet laureate of the Bermondsey Favela.The evening is dedicated to the King of Kentish Town Ivor Cutler...DJ will be spinning his hits.

Our March Soiree Saturday 28th March celebrates the arrival of Spring and Louise's Birthday (there will be cake) and who better to celebrate the spring  stirrings than William Summers (Circulus, Princes in the Tower) that medieval poacher will tickle the trouts of love out of the streams of consciousness he will be accompanying a very special guest Rio Carnival Samba dancer the beautiful Bettina Fernandez this is a Soiree extraordinary moment and well worth seeing, also on the bill is legend of the 12 Bar Club Hungry Dog Brand aka Martin Dowsing who will rock us with his bitter strangled blues, he will also be reading from his gripping page turner of a book "The Assassination of Adolf Hitler" and will be signing books too..We are so happy to have the gorgeous Mico (Mieko Shimizu) return to the Soiree with her beautiful moving songs sung from the heart... Earl McKenzie will grace us with his soulful, gorgeous songs. Our special guest comic will make us laugh...Cian Binchey will excite us with his truth...DJ Magic Touch will increasingly coax us into dancing...Writer Mary Gaughan will present extracts from her memoir..the Love doctor that is Kosmic Troubadour will be entertaining us and of course The Society of Imaginary Friends. Activist Janet Thomas fresh back from working with refugees in Calais' "Jungle" will sing us a song and update us about what is happening over there.
